Someone was defending the controlling political party against the Katrina travesty.

It was argued (I have no idea why) that the Republican Party was in no way at fault for the countless lives lost and untold suffering that followed the tragic hurricane Katrina.

Sorry but "The Party" was 95% of the problem. They spent so long feeding everyone BS that BS became the truth. They lie and again, it cost Americans their lives.
I had my suspicions all along but the day after Katrina passed through, my mind was well made.

It's never been a secret that Louisiana government is as poor as an Indian dung farmer and as about as organized as 17 spider monkeys trying to rape a greased football.
The citizens had federal income tax deducted from their checks regularly but had to hear some canned crap about state's rights keeping the national guard from arriving.
Federal support could not be invoked without violating state's rights?
People were dying but the red tape kept their government from saving them. Mind you that this is the same government that doles out billion-dollar unbid contracts overnight.
Perhaps the pocket-lining and palm-greasing techniques weren't set up for something needed and useful.

Yep, the party is at fault. They were on watch and the shit went down. Their pants had the poopie in them.
They have the audacity to feel surprise when voters pulled the free ride rug out from under their assed just this month. Well, when I tell the Republican conservative false prophets to kiss my moderate ass, there is a chorus of voices with me.

Now, if they can get that delusional cretin out of the White House, we may have something left for our grandchildren! Perhaps he'll go hunting with Unkle Dick..
Politicians habit of putting themselves before those they serve surfaces again.

As we all know, Texas district 22 has been the source of much flack from the corrupt self serving Republican regime. In the recent mid-term elections, a special spot was on the ballot for filling the deposed and disgraced seat of Tom Delay. You may remember that Mr. Delay quit after being charged with corruption.
The winner of this two month powerless seat was Ms. Shelly Sekula-Gibbs. Although this means nothing to those outside of Houston city limits, it means about $2 million dollars to the citizens of Houston. You see, the position she held on Houston's City Counsel is now vacant and a special election will have to be held to fill her position.
Why couldn't she concede to the challenger for this meaningless 2 month job?
Because she has no moral issue with making the taxpayers of Houston pay a million dollars a month for her personal benefit.

Our forefathers were intelligent.
Enough so to design a system of checks and balances into our system of government that kept one branch from running the entire country free reign.
Over the recent years, we have seen not only a failure of that system but a complete failure when a single philosophy party was allowed to gain complete control of the judicial, legislative and executive branches. This (as predicted) led us down the road to Fascism. Without a proven scientific barometer for this problem, one had to rely on observances. Those observances were made by a majority of Americans and were acted upon. Sadly, local issues were sacrificed by many in order to restore the balance of power at the federal level.
For those like me that made that sacrifice, I thank you deeply and promise my genuine feeling that the country is better because of it.

ACLU finally decides to take the side of illegally residing foreigners over the American country that supports it.
If you ever supported them, this is a spit in the face and the most blatant anti-American thing I've ever imagined being supported on American soil.

The link below is to the actual petition against the United States of America from illegal aliens hiding in our own country!

Stand up for your country! Contact the 'ACLU' and let them know they are no longer welcome among Americans!

LULAC'S ATTEMP TO BS AMERICANS BACKFIRES
I was fumbling through some AP news and found an interesting bit containing some feedback from LULAC regarding the temporary detainment of 16 persons who could not produce valid entry documentation. It should be noted that these folks were trying to leave at this point. Entry had already been gained without the proper completed Customs forms.

One of their group's officers, managers, or whatever made comment that taxpayers would have to foot the bill to deport people who already had tickets to leave. This is bull because they were allowed to leave 'voluntarily' and could have been detained, charged, fined and not allowed to return legally, ever!

He also dropped the words "raid" and "targeted" in their usual attempt to spin and politicize the facts in a manner that (they think) makes them a target of some sort of consorted discrimination. This is in full view and spite of the matter that the large majority of their "victims" are here illegally, have children here illegally and undermine the fair wage for blue collar American workers here legally.

Just like the Nada Gringo anti-American march(es) this year, their attempt to lie and cohere the American citizenry has backfired.

Be it just doing jobs that Americans won't do because, unlike Americans, their food and housing is subsidized (by Americans against their will) or murdering American police officers or whatever, we don't need them and they know it!

Calderon Compares Border Fence To Berlin Wall
Mexican president-elect Calderon just summed up the Mexican view of America. They think our country is North Mexico. A land where you can sneak into, live parasitically and funnel billions of dollars illegally back into South Mexico.

The Host is dying, Mr. Calderon. Too many leaches on any animal will eventually kill it.
Thanks for stealing my tax money, overcrowding my schools, driving up my health care costs and ruining my children's future.

Security for us or from us?
Today, the man we are duty bound to honor and respect has signed into law the open allowance of torture and indefinite imprisonment without right of defense, review or oversight. This sort of behavior images that of the "evil" countries we were educated about as children and young adults. My question now is if they were all that "evil" or were their motives as justified as our current ruling party's?

Throughout the last twenty or so years, we've declared "war" on one thing or the other. It started with the "War on drugs" if I remember correctly. Perhaps we can all agree the troops have drifted from the front lines on that one. We declared "war" on poverty and childhood obesity and the list goes on.
The point of this paragraph is twofold. First, you have to have a clearly defined enemy that can be overcome, disarmed and re-educated or slaughtered to the last living combatant. Second, you must invest the correct resources, intellect of force and compassion to control the suffering of innocents, clearly defined operational goals and tenacity to complete the task.

The terrorism we fear is not a war. It consists of single gruesome crimes committed by individuals. As skewed as they are to our culture, they are crimes driven by ideals. Thousands of young men have been persuaded to commit thousands of separate murder-suicides. Had this been a localized or simple matter (such as a "war"), thousands of people wouldn't have acted in the most violent and gruesome manner.

I want to ask a question that has yet to be clearly answered. I want to know WHY they are killing themselves by the thousands.
We can continue to pacify ourselves with foolishness such as "They hate our freedoms" but our Constitution has been erased and re-written to the point that the basis of American freedoms are no more.

Perhaps I should ask what the trees look like from outside of the forest?

Testing those multi-megaton atomic bombs deep underground a good idea?

A 6.5-magnitude earthquake occurred six miles north-northwest of South Kona, Hawaii, at 7:08 a.m. (their local time) today.

Flash over to the North Korean alleged nuclear bomb test(s).
Luckily, it seems their test only yielded about 5 kilotons or just under a third of the explosive power used in the Hiroshima weapon.

It would be nice if the weapon tests and the world's earthquakes fail to coordinate.
If it does, however, what will happen when they test a multi-megaton weapon underground?

As one of the founding "morons" at RockAid, i forgive Fo-Fo and offer the following observations:
Anyone can attest to the monopolization and subsequent wholesale cheapening of the radio industry over the last ten years.
The industry actually has to air its' own PSAs to convince itself that "Radio is not dead". How sad is that?
There are many alternatives to this media. Kids and adults have nothing binding them to it. In an age where cable television is actually considered a utility would you settle for the content broadcast TV has to offer?
Come on, do you think any demographic that can only afford an FM radio is the one adverts are wanting to target?
Even Wal-Mart has 50 different CD and Mp3 players to no more than a few FM radio receivers.
For under a hundred bucks and the cost of a monthly Starbucks trip, you can snatch hundreds of different "stations" from satellite.
Regardless of cause or reason, your available audience is shrinking.
When even "elevator" stations are being exponentially replaced with streamed media, you know something is happening.
This Christmas, when the annual lay-off season starts, remember what we told you and why we walked away from what was the basis of your career.
Yes, there is a sadness in being a moron.
